Kobe City has been working to enhance the quality of its town and lifestyle, improve its city brand, and attract residents. As part of this project, the station square has been upgraded with a novel and symbolic pergola. The renovation work has been completed, providing shade from the sun on hot days and stair-shaped benches for lunch, reading, or meeting up.
